ZUST Won The Championship Of The "China Exploration" Competition

From May 7th to 8th, ZUST delegation stood out from 11 teams and won the championship of the 2nd"China Exploration" Zhejiang Final, a cultural and sports event for international students who study and live in China,

The competition consists of three sports events—performance of sporting art, orienteering contest and 3 vs. 3 basketball competition. With the support of the P.E. Department and Art Education Center, ZUST delegation strived for excellence. With the magnificent Chinese-style drum dance and fan dance, six foreign students from ZUST won the championship in sporting art event. In the orienteering contest, ZUST ten-player team (including two Chinese students) won the second place. Also in 3 vs. 3 basketball competition, the same team exceled others remarkably by 11 to 4. With the total score of 96, ZUST became the champion in Zhejiang division and will represent Zhejiang province to attend the contest in Southeast China division.

 China Exploration is a big event hosted by China Ministry of Education, organized by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) and CCTV5, and co-organized by Education Department of different provinces and cities. Combined with P.E. and culture and focusing on cooperation between Chinese and foreign students, this event aims to demonstrate the foreign students' healthy, positive and youthful image in China and hence helps them fully perceive the charm of Chinese culture and the fast development of China.
