ZUST Won the First Prize of National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest

Recently, the 13th National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest has come to a close. ZUST got one National First Prize, which is the first time that ZUST has ever won the National First Prize in that contest (Level A).
Held biennially by the Higher Education Department from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Personnel and Education from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest is a nationwide Level A scientific competition for university students. Regarded as an essential reference of the comprehensive strength of innovative undergraduates of the Electronics and Information major, it has become one of the top competitions most influential and widely accepted among universities in China.
In this year, 43,218 students in 14,406 teams of 1,066 universities from 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions took part in the competition, which was the largest scale ever. The contest included four stages: the independent completion of design, unified testing review, closed test and retest. The ZUST team (supervisor: Zheng Yongping) was composed of Chen Fengsheng from Measurement and Control Technology and Instruments class 142, Zheng Wenhao from Automation class 143 and Wang Junyi from Building Electricity and Intelligence (top-up major) class 161. As the representative of Zhejiang teams, ZUST's team engaged in the retest stage in Xi'an Jiaotong University and attained the National First Prize. It was reported that only 268 teams won the National First Prize (winning ratio: 1.8%), and teams from Zhejiang province gained a total of 10 National First Prizes in the Undergraduate competition.
