On Dec. 1st and 2nd, the Fifth International Cultural Exhibition was successfully held. Students from nearly 40 countries such as Germany, Romania, Ukraine, South Africa, Somalia, Uzbekistan and Indonesia have set up pavilions to show traditional cultures to all the teachers and students. Professor Gong Jianli, Chairman of the University Council of ZUST, Mr. Ye Gaoxiang, President of ZUST attended the opening ceremony.In the opening ceremony, Professor Gong Jianli, Professor Ye Gaoxiang and Professor Zhou Jiamin launch the ceremony by pressing the ball. Professor Ye Gaoxiang delivered a speech. He expressed his congratulations on the International Cultural Exhibition on behalf of the school. Ye Gaoxiang refers to the international cultural exhibition as the epitome of the school internationalization, which shows the achievements of the international development of ZUST and promotes the communication between students in various countries.
The international cultural festival aims at building a cross - cultural communication bridge for both Chinese and foreign teachers and students. Colorful flags, traditional dance and joyful music attracted all the audience. It is reported that this activity is divided into cultural exhibition and a series of activities such as speech contest, essay contest and song contest. It’s a communication of world culture as well as a soul bridge between students and teachers!
