On June 9th, the 5thEast Asian Conference on Harmonic Analysis and Applications(EACHAA) was held in Hangzhou. The conference was hosted by the School of Sciences in ZUST. Professor Feng Jun, the vice president of ZUST, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
Forty-five experts, professors and young scholars were invited to make academic reports. They were from Brown University, University of Texas at Austin, Seoul National University, Tokyo Woman’s Christian University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, Fudan University, Beijing Normal University, University of Science and Technology of China, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University and other universities.
This is the third time in five years for the School of Sciences in ZUST to undertake the international academic conference, which was approved by Zhejiang provincial government. The conference offered a great exchange platform for enhancing educational cooperation among the countries involved in “The Belt and Road Initiative” and strengthening their academic exchange and cooperation.
