International Students of ZUST Performed Azalea

The 10th Zhejiang Provincial International Student Talent Show—“The Dream Trip in Zhejiang” was held in Zhejiang University of Technology on the evening of December 12th, 2016. ZUST international students performed “Azalea” (a traditional Chinese folk song) on the show, receiving high appraisal from the audience.
About 240 foreign students from 22 universities in Zhejiang province participated in the talent show. They sang songs, danced and performed group crosstalk, dramas and other excellent programs to fully show their talent and Chinese language skills.
The Chinese folk song “Azalea”, performed by international students from Ukraine, Zambia, Cameroon and 12 other countries and instructed by the ZUST Art Center, brought down the house. The male and female duet sounds appealing with the melodious flute, and the uniform and powerful dancing added more masculinity to the performance. Ashraf Abdulkhaleq Ahmed Qaid, a ZUST student from Yemen, hosted the show. He had great composure on stage and his standard Mandarin was very fluent, which left a deep impression on the audience.
