The Council Meeting of Confucius Institute in Cluj, Romania Convened in ZUST

On December 12th, Prof. Razvan Valentin Mustata, the dean of the School of Economy and council member of the Confucius Institute at Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca of Romania, and Program Leader Ms. Smaranda Moldovan visited ZUST for the Council meeting of the Confucius Institute. ZUST President Prof. Ye Gaoxiang and leaders of ZUST’s International Office and International Student Affairs Center also participated in the meeting.
The panel discussed the alteration of Confucius Institute council members and reviewed and adopted the final annual accounts for 2015 and ratified the annual budget for 2016 of the Confucius Institute in Cluj-Napoca. The two sides also carried on a friendly and fruitful discussion of the next work focus and future development of this institute. President Ye received detailed knowledge of its running situation, and highly praised the Romanian exchange students’ academic performance at ZUST. With sincere gratitude to Romania's efforts and appreciation of its contribution to the development of the Confucius Institute and the exchange program, he urged that the Confucius Institute should become a strong bond between our two universities and that a continual exchange of students and teachers be promoted to further consolidate their cooperation and communication.
