ZUST Holds the Summarization Conference to Commend G20 Volunteers

On Oct 25th, the summarization and commendation conference of G20 summit volunteers was held, presided over by ZUST president, Prof. Ye Gaoxiang. The conference was chaired by Prof. Zhao Dongfu, Deputy Secretary of ZUST Party Committee. Participants included the leading-team members of the G20 volunteer cohort, deputy secretaries of the Party Committee from different colleges and 201 G20 volunteers.

Inscriptions about the volunteers by Prof. Wang Jianhua, the General Secretary of the Party Committee, and Prof. Ye Gaoxiang, ZUST President, were on display.

ZUST volunteers evidenced their youthful sunshine image and outstanding quality of bearing hardships through their work videos, performance of the “Blue Lotus”, mini-interview with volunteer representatives and the speeches of the leading teacher and volunteer representatives.

The conference commended the advanced collective and individual efforts. ZUST was honored to win the award of Advanced Collective and Excellent Organizer for its G20 volunteer work. Of all the ZUST volunteers, 4 students were conferred the award of Advanced Individual by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government; 43 received various awards such as Advanced Personnel, Outstanding Volunteer and Excellent Volunteer from the National and Provincial Volunteer Associations, and 68 won honors such as Outstanding ZUST Volunteers, and many others.
