The Closing Ceremony of the 35th University Sports Meeting

On 28th October afternoon，the 35th school sports meeting came to a close. ZUST Leadership attended the closing ceremony and awarded the prizes to winning units. The leaders of relevant functional departments and secondary colleges (department, center) attended.

　Since its inception in April，the teachers and students competed in a total of 28 events. It is reported that 565 teaching and administrative staff and 517 students competed in this sports meeting.

On October 27th and 28th the sports meeting was held on both campuses. In spite of bad weather, all the athletes tried their best to fight for their teams. At this sports meeting, the school record of men's 5,000m and men's 10,000m were broken by Hu Yuanhang, a student from Class 132 of Material Science and Engineering. The International Student team attended the sports meeting too. Staff teams also successfully held the fourth fun sports meeting.

Finally, the top three Student Group Rewards were bestowed on the School of Economics and Management, International Student Affairs Center and the School of Biological and Chemical Engineering and Light Industry. Meanwhile, Logistics Service Department, the administrative office and College of Science received the top three Faculty & Staff Team Rewards.
