ZUST Achieved Outstanding Results in the 1st Zhejiang Robot Contest

From May 19th to May 22nd, the first “Nan Jiang Cup” College Robot Contest of Zhejiang province (Level A) was held in the Technology Resources Market of Binjiang, Hangzhou. ZUST students won three first prizes (two champions, one runner-up), four second prizes (including one third-place); meanwhile, ZUST JT Robot Team organized and evaluated the Traveling Robot Project in Robot Contest of Zhejiang Provincial Education Department (Level A) for the first time, and received unanimous compliments from the Higher Education Department of the Provincial Education Department and the contest committee.
The contest, held by Zhejiang University, was made up of three themes and six projects, with 249 teams from universities all over Zhejiang participating in it.
In support of college and school leaders, the Chinese-German Institute of Applied Engineering and the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation successfully selected 8 teams guided by the teachers Chen Juntong and Yang Shujie to compete in the adventure tour and treasure hunt tour. Finally, Team 2 of TypeⅠExpedition won the championship in TypeⅠAdventure Tour (Sun Rui’ai from Class H142 of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation in the Chinese-German Institute of Engineering; Li Hao from Class 134 of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation; Dong Hao from Class 144 of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation; Shi Zhenhua from Class 142 of Measurement and Control Technology & Instrument); Team 1 of TypeⅠTreasure Hunting won the championship in TypeⅠTreasure Hunting Tour (Guo Yiyu from Class H142 of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation in the Chinese-German Institute of Engineering; Zhao Longyun from Class 134 of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation; Wang Hong from Class 134 of Automation; Yu Jiafeng from Class 142 of Measurement and Control Technology & Instrument major); Team 1 of Type I Expedition won the runner-up in Type I Adventure Tour (Zhuo Xiaoweng from Class 144 of Electrical Engineering and Automation; Chen Cheng from Class 131 of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation; Bao Kai from Class H151 of Electrical Engineering and Automation in the Chinese-German Institute of Engineering); Team 1 of TypeⅡTreasure Hunt won the third place in TypeⅡTreasure Hunting Tour (Zhao Yunlong from Class 134 of Electrical Engineering and Automation major; Jin Lingjie, Zhang Chenhong and Sun Rui’ai from Class H142 of Electrical Engineering and Automation in the Chinese-German Institute of Engineering); Team 2 of TypeⅡ Expedition won the second prize in TypeⅡAdventure Tour (Dong Hao from Class 144 of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation; Wu Xuyu from Class142 of Electrical Engineering and Automation major; Guo Yuyi and Chen Shuai jiang from Class H142 of Electrical Engineering and Automation in the Chinese-German Institute of Engineering); Team 1 of TypeⅡ Expedition won the second prize in TypeⅡAdventure Tour (Deng Tiannan from Class H141 of Electric Engineering and Automation in the Chinese-German Institute of Engineering; Zhu Zhifeng from Class H141and Li Zhaopan from Class 142 of Automation; Chen Chen from Class 131 of Electrical Engineering and Automation); Team 2 of TypeⅠTreasure Hunting won the second prize in TypeⅠTreasure Hunting Tour (Li Hao from Class 134 of Electrical Engineering and Automation; Sun Rui’ai from Class H142 of Electrical Engineering and Automation in the Chinese-German Institute of Engineering; Hu Xiaofeng and Deng Tiannan from Class H141 of Electrical Engineering and Automation ); Team 2 of Type II Treasure Hunting won participant award in Type II Treasure Hunting Tour (Jin Lingjie from Class H142, Deng Tiannan from Class H141 and Shao Yichen from Class H142 of Electrical Engineering and Automation in the Chinese-German Institute of Engineering;).
The first Zhengjiang Robot Contest “Nanjiang Cup” is a comprehensive subject contest for training and improving interdisciplinary specialized knowledge, unifying knowledge and practice, innovation, entrepreneurship, creation and team collaboration of university students. It aims to promote the training of robotic interdisciplinary talents and excellent engineering talents in Zhengjiang Province. It also plays a positive role in carrying out teaching reform of practical innovation of education and promoting the development of robotic technologies and industries.
