Recently, The Talents Panel of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee released the shortlist names of the first batch of provincial “Ten Thousand Talents Plan”. Professor Shan Shengdao of ZUST is selected as one of its leading talents for technology innovation. At the same time, two other alumni of our university are selected to the program as well. Zhang Ouyan, from Grade 1992 of Clothing Design Engineering of the School of Art, is selected as one of the Teaching Masters. Xia Feng, from Grade 2003 of Industry Engineering of the School of Economics and Management, is selected as one of the Top Youth Talents.
It is said that “The Special Support Program for High-level Talents in Zhejiang Province” (known as “Ten Thousand Talents Plan”) focuses on the domestic talents of entrepreneurship and innovation in Zhejiang. It is a high-level talent training and supporting plan in parallel with the “Thousand Talents Plan” of the province. Since 2017 the program has selected and supported a group of high-level talents in the fields of natural science, engineering, philosophy and social science, economic and financial management in the province. Working together with other schemes to recruit overseas talents, this plan helps to build a system for fostering high-level innovative and entrepreneurial talents.
