On March 30th, the ceremony of the establishment of Sino-German intelligent cold chain logistics technology research institute was held on Anji campus. Chen Hao, Deputy Secretary of Huzhou Municipal Committee and Gong Jianli, Secretary of the Party Committee of ZUST, jointly unveiled the plaque for the research institute. President of ZUST Ye Gaoxiang, Vice President of ZUST Wan Jian, member of the Party Organization of Huzhou Municipal Government and Director of City-District Cooperation Office Chen Yaming, member of the Standing Committee of Anji Party Committee and Deputy County Magistrate Le Yejun attended the ceremony. Wang Haiwen, member of the Standing Committee and the Deputy Head of Anji County, hosted the event. Representatives of cooperative German universities and enterprises, ZUST alumni, enterprise representatives from Anji County, leaders of related functional departments and secondary schools of ZUST and student representatives participated in the unveiling ceremony.

According to the agreement, Sino-German Intelligent Cold Chain Logistics Technology Research Institute is cooperatively constructed by Government of Anji County and ZUST. The institute will introduce advanced technology in areas of German intelligent cold chain logistics and environmental protection. Taking new cold chain equipment technology, cold chain information technology, energy saving and cold storage technology, energy-saving and environment-friendly new material and other strategic emerging industries as the developing direction, the institute will improve the win-win cooperation mechanism of “International-Government -Industry-University-Research-Application” with the concept of “green, energy saving, coordination and synergy”, and make Anji become the intelligent cold chain logistics application demonstration base of Yangtze River Delta region.
