Recently, the Mobilization meeting of “The Action Plan of Zhejiang Province as a Hub for the Belt and Road” (hereafter referred to as the Action Plan) and Zhejiang Belt and Road Initiative Forum were held in Hangzhou. Chinese-German Industrial Technology and Economic Research Center in ZUST was selected as one of the supporters of think tanks for the Belt and Road construction in Zhejiang Province.

Committed to participate in and serve the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, ZUST strives giving full play to Zhejiang’s comprehensive advantages of locational conditions，port and shipping logistics, digital economy,  cross-border e-commerce, and Zhejiang businesses across the world, reform and innovation, etc. School of Economics and Management, together with related colleges established Chinese-German Industrial Technology and Economic Research Center, taking advantages of ZUST’s Chinese-German cooperation and locational conditions of Zhejiang Province. The center has been carrying out research on the Belt and Road extensively, offering all-dimensional and high-quality consultation services for decision-making of Party committees and governments at all levels and going out of Zhejiang enterprises.
